Freelancers do not need a complicated billing system. They need a fast way to send invoices that look professional and are easy for clients to pay.
Save your own details once#
Add your business name, email, address, and logo so you do not rebuild the same sender details every time. This gives each invoice a consistent look.
Save repeat clients as contacts#
If you bill a client more than once, save them in Contacts. The next time you create an invoice, select the client and Reinvoice fills in their details.
Use plain line items#
Freelance invoices should be specific. “Landing page copywriting” is clearer than “copy.” “Monthly design retainer” is clearer than “design work.”
Keep notes helpful#
Add payment instructions, project dates, or a short thank-you. Avoid long explanations unless the client truly needs them.
Send with confidence#
Use the live preview before sending. If the invoice looks clear at a glance, it is much more likely to move through the client’s approval process smoothly.
With Reinvoice, a freelancer can move from “I need to bill this client” to “invoice sent” without opening a spreadsheet or formatting a document from scratch.
